We love the feeling of being inside the Bohemian Sundays Boutique. Plants, beautiful threads, Joni Mitchell songs and perfect boho customers. We decided to create a little gypsy corner in the store and play dress ups with one of our favourite customers, Jazlin.
We spent the afternoon dancing, creating artful outfits and laughing. This shoot features some of our new stock from Sacred Sevens, Rowie, Amilita, Arnhem, Cabo Gypsy and more...

"Amilita is a women's clothing label inspired by the freedom and spirit of modern Bohemianism.
Based in Byron Bay, Amilita is fuelled by the love of making clothes and a lifestyle by the sea. Inspired by art and all things vintage, bespoke and bohemian, designer Sara Afonso had a vision of a lifestyle and a label called Amilita.
There is an iconic female figure in Mexican folklore called Adelita. Renowned for her political strategies and strength during the Mexican revolution, she came to signify a woman of great courage. Amilita is a clothing label created by Sara Afonso, inspired by Adelita.
After completing a Diploma of Fashion Design, Sara started her career by hand sewing lingerie and selling it at the famous Bondi Markets, the launch pad of many a creative.
The ethos behind Amilita designs was to create comfortable yet still sexy lingerie in natural fabrics. This is something that is carried through to the clothes she now designs, always functional and always flattering. As women increasingly responded to Saras beautiful hand sewn lingerie, she decided to combine her love of island beachside living and moved her new venture to Bali. Here Sara formed close relations with the local tailors and the label really started to bloom.
In 2011, Amilita set up base in the beautiful town of Byron Bay, where it continues to grow, thrive, and enjoy all things this unique little town has to offer." - Amilita
"Alice McCall is an eclectic brand with a playful sensibility, using unique detailing and charming folk-like craftsmanship to create charismatic, modern keepsake collections".
Starting off in London working as a stylist, Alice Mccall began designing and selling her own silk pieces. Alice McCall quickly grew a fan base and the label was eventually launched at Australian Fashion Week in 2004.
There are now Alice McCall boutiques all across Australia, and stockists worldwide. We are lucky to be one of those Alice McCall stockists are are excited to share this incredibly quirky, yet chic label.
Whether you are dying to get your hands on one of the classic Alice McCall playsuits, or just need a little more lace in your life, we are able to provide you with the latest and greatest Alice McCall online or at our store in Mooloolaba Queensland, Australia!
Born into a gypsy lifestyle of colour and beauty, flower child Arnhem Bickley spent her early years travelling around Australia and the world with her hippy parents. Drifting through different communities and festivals and living in teepees with no electricity or running water, a heightened sense of creativity emerged in young Arnhem, who began sewing clothing for her dolls at the age of four.
This bohemian spirit flows into every piece of Arnhem Clothing. Her range is characterized by distinctive, custom signature prints of vintage-inspired floral, tribal and earthy designs, heavily influenced by the wilderness and beauty of her home in Byron Bay.
Arnhem creates elegant pieces with an effortlessly feminine yet playful style. All Arnhem Clothing has that one off feel about it, with nothing mass-produced.
Arnhem Clothing has quickly grown to become one of Byron Bay’s iconic fashion labels, with celebrity fans including Isabel Lucas and the Veronicas. Arnhem has amassed a huge following around the world …..and we’re just getting started.
We are thrilled to stock Arnhem at Bohemian Sundays as we support everything that goes into creating a clothing label with soul! The bright prints and flowing lines fill our store with magic and we hope to share this magic with you.
So pop in store or head online to fill your wardrobe with some incredible Arnhem pieces!

]]>I invited fellow Sunshine Coast Bohemian, Laura, on an adventure to discover 4 perfect gypsy-style outfits. We frolicked around in the fields and tried on magical clothes from Free People, Cove Style, Rowie, Somedays Lovin', Billi Blues and Shantique. Below are 4 outfits from Bohemian Sundays that I knew would inspire and excite my fellow Sunshine Coast gypsies:
Shirt: Flora Crop by Arnhem
Bohemian Sundays has its own handmade sterling silver jewellery line. We took mermaid, Shaanti, to the beach to photograph her wearing some of the organic, coral inspired pieces.
